The physical properties of DOTP plasticizer are similar to that of DOP, and the mechanical properties of their products are also similar; however, because DOTP plasticizer has a linear symmetric structure, while DOP has a spherical structure, it gives DOTP plasticizer more outstanding heat resistance. Excellent properties such as electrical resistance, extraction resistance, low volatility and low glass transition temperature. DOTP plasticizer products are especially suitable for common soft PVC products such as (70℃~90℃ grade) high-insulation cables, artificial leather, sealing strips, shoe materials, mulch, furniture, water pipes, tapes, etc. DOTP plasticizer can also be used as a plasticizer for synthetic rubber, an additive for lubricants, a softener for papermaking, an auxiliary for nitro varnish, biaxially oriented polyester amide film, molded crafts and plasma storage bags, etc. Due to its excellent compatibility, it can be blended with DOP in any proportion. It can also be used for the plasticization of acrylonitrile derivatives, polyvinyl butyral, nitrile rubber, nitrocellulose, etc.; in nitrile rubber, It can be used as a softener in products such as chloroprene rubber and EPDM rubber. When used to plasticize paste, it can also reduce the viscosity and increase the storage life.
