Characteristics and uses of DOTP plasticizer products:

The product is a light yellow viscous oily liquid at room temperature. Its solubility in water is <0.01 (25°C). The solubility of water in the product is 0.55% (25°C). It is soluble in organic solvents such as hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, and higher alcohols, and slightly soluble in ethanol. The product is the most widely used non-toxic plasticizer and stabilizer for polyvinyl chloride: it has good compatibility with PVC resin, low volatility, and low migration. It has excellent thermal stability and light stability, and is also water and oil resistant. It can give the product good mechanical strength, weather resistance and electrical properties, and is non-toxic. It is an internationally recognized chemical process additive for food packaging materials. The product can be used for all polyvinyl chloride products. Such as various food packaging materials, medical products, various films, sheets, pipes, refrigerator seals, artificial leather, floor leather, plastic wallpaper, wires and cables and other daily plastic products, etc. It can also be used for special inks, paints, coatings, synthetic rubber and liquid composite stabilizers, etc.
Generally, the higher the ESO epoxy value, the better the heat resistance; the lower the ESO iodine value, the better the compatibility with PVC, and the less likely it is to precipitate!
